The Craft Fair of the Region of Murcia 2013 has hosted the third edition of the contest organized Artelor, the Association of Artisans of Lorca, to disseminate and promote potter sector activity.
The event has evolved Friday and Saturday, and on it the participants, most of the Region of Murcia, have had to demonstrate their level of skill in the art of the lathe, his skill in the so-called "phase of the bowl" and their good work in imitation test.
The jury of professionals, has decided that the first prize is in this edition Lidón Isidro Ponce, while the second prize was awarded to Lazaro Lopez Campos.
Both are natives of Totana potters, and in addition to a cash prize, they take the recognition of the many professionals who come to this annual event with crafts.
The director of the Fair, Gregorio Gonzalez, Councilman Crafts Council of Lorca, Eduardo Sanchez and the president of Artelor, Adela Ruiz, along with other members of this association of craftsmen have been responsible for delivering the prize to the winners of this year.
