The Department of Social Services maintains a total of 470 active system benefits dependency care, and among them, there are 336 corresponding to cash benefits for family care (71.64%), 73 a day center places (15.57%) and 39 seats in residence (8.32%).
The processing and monitoring of these benefits is considered a priority by the city of Totana to ensure access to and enjoyment of these rights by the dependents and ensure adequate care.
Since it was launched the System Care Unit, the Department of Social Services has processed a total of 1669 files relating to it, are able to benefit a total of 1242 residents of the town.
