Civil Protection Technicians Totana yesterday withdrew large swarm that was in a fume hood in the kitchen of a duplex apartment on Avenida Juan Carlos I of this town, after being given notice by the affected neighbors.
Civil Protection Volunteers have retired this year several swarms in different areas of town that usually proliferate with the arrival of spring.
The withdrawal of the swarm was performed following the necessary protocol and requires expertise in advanced beekeeping techniques and sometimes climbing techniques that are not available to everyone if they want to perform with optimum safety measures.
