PRESS WORKS COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TOTANA
The Chamber of the Superior Court of Justice (TSJ) of Murcia, on Friday June 21 issued a judgment unfavorable to the City council of Totana, on collective dismissal approved by the council at the regular full month of June 2012 and affected 35 workers.
The judgment of the Supreme Court recognizes that saving 800,000 euros a year is not very important and does not fix the deficit of 91 million euros that has the city, but understand that it is a measure that helps to reduce it.
Unions understand that the City workers have caused 91 million euros of debt, and the statement is an injustice.
The council met this morning and unanimously of those present took the agreement to appeal the ruling, by an appeal to the Fourth Chamber of the Supreme Court, disagreeing with the motivation that has led the failure of the judgment.
