Totana City Council has signed a collaboration agreement with an outplacement firm and training in order to implement actions to facilitate job placement and employment promotion in Totana.
Through this public-private partnership will try to help workers find suitable employment, optimizing their chances of active occupation, assist employers in hiring workers find suitable employment and thereby maximize their opportunities for work, as reported municipal sources in a statement.
Furthermore, this agreement also helps employers in recruiting suitable workers to meet their needs.
The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez, explained that this initiative will develop guidance, personnel selection and training of the town of Totana so they can, thus, be eligible for a job suited to their professional training.
Sanchez Ruiz said that this commercial will be installed in the Business Incubator to contribute from that location in the employability of the unemployed, since one of the points of the agreement is to ensure the inclusion of people unemployed in the municipality.
Furthermore, in the words of the municipal councilor, with the implementation of this training for people actively looking for work, also responds to the needs of entrepreneurs in the agriculture sector, as they need employees with training prevention of occupational hazards.
