The Department of Public Safety and Traffic through Totana Local Police, has returned, as every year, the Driver Education curriculum 2012/13 which provides for the participation of 2,400 students and Primary Education for all schools of Totana.
This new course, which began on January 8, will run until mid-May, both formal lectures taught in every school, including practical sessions, to be held in the Park Road Education exists in the urbanization "El Parral "in our town.
In this new course, involving a total of 380 students of primary education in 17 classrooms in 11 schools of Totana, where he will give a theoretical-interactive session.
Small, aged 5 and 6 years, taken a first contact on pedestrian road safety: where, how and which way you walk around town, and then as passengers: when going by car, where as and that way they should behave.
Moreover, they also participated totaling approximately 2080 primary school children, of course, first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth, aged between 6 and 13 years, divided in 104 classrooms.
To these he taught pedestrian notions both city and highway driving, management and development of the bicycle as a city and road drivers, as well as an introduction to traffic signs.
For these courses will be given two lectures and a practical class.
In this new course is planned also projected an educational presentation for students of Mentally Handicapped Occupational Center "José Moya Trilla" with video classes and practicals.
In the same vein, is intended to teach driver education lectures to different groups of adults.
