Classroom Students Totana Occupational participated during the months of October to December in different complementary activities organized by the Department of Education of the City of Totana, in collaboration with the IES Juan de la Cierva.
A total of 15 students aged between 14 and 15 years participate in this program of remedial education.
On one hand, according to the Department of Education, has conducted the workshop on Prevention of Occupational Risks in the workshop focused particularly cooking and baking.
In the same have conducted a total of five sessions through which young people have been sensitized on the need to know the basics of safety and health, rights and duties in prevention, overall risks from the profession cooks and bakers, preventive measures and light concepts on first aid and firefighting.
They have also participated in a talk on volunteerism which explained the concept and types of volunteering there in Totana, partnerships involving volunteers and the conditions for membership of voluntary Totana.
They also visited the exhibition "awareness campaign is for you-our share", the Spanish Red Cross, located in the Centro Sociocultural Jail, to commemorate the International Day Against Violence Against Women.
In the context of educational programming, also participated in a guided tour of the gardens of Totana in order conociesen students more closely, in situ, geographic and cultural aspects of the environment of our town, further complementing activity exercise trails.
On another note, have also received information on gender violence in order to sensitize and train the boys and girls, through a practical, skills that enable them to identify future violent and toxic relationships, and how not to get involved in these.
For the realization of these has had the collaboration of different technical Totana City Council Councillors and members of Civil Protection, which we appreciate their willingness to participate in such programs.
