The Department of Sports reports that last December 23 was held last outing of 2012 trekking program organized by the Sports Department of the City of Totana and Travel Espuña.

This time he made the pilgrimage to Caravaca stage between the rural Hospedería New Home (Mule) and the municipality of Bullas.

The route was developed by the GR-252 to Valley Ucenda to later connect to the PR-MU-32 which skirts the hill of Castellar and enters the town Bullas where the route ended.

It was a large group of about 30 hikers eager to wear sole, since it was one of the longest routes planned so far, crossed a total of 23.8 miles.

The first two hours was noticeable cold but as the sun made an appearance the day was a real treat for hiking.

The first kilometers discoursed on the service road Taibilla channel until the place of the Houses of Agua Blanca, where the route continued to Zarzadilla Mula, near the Sierra de Pedro Ponce.

In this place we proceeded to deserved lunch, especially for recharging strength to face the dizzying ascent of rocky strata Zarzadilla Mula, an adventure of pure hiking.

The route went by the place of Apple to the top of the silo.

From this point you could see Ucenda Valley, a magical place where the vineyard invited us to move into the land of wine, we knew we had to Bullas not be far behind.

At this point connected with the PR-MU-32 which would take us to the Mula river bed.

There were about three miles to the end of the route.

2:45 p.m. on the destination is reached where the bus went to the restaurant group to celebrate a meal of fellowship among all participants, thereby putting the finishing touch to the splendid day hikers and goodbye to a 2012 full of routes and miles tours.

The Department of Sports and Travel Espuña already preparing the new schedule for the first quarter of 2013.

This programming will be available from January 15.
