About 150 farmers and ranchers Totana, along with those of Lorca, Puerto Lumbreras, Alhama and other towns in the region, have participated this morning in a concentration at the Delegation of the Government of Murcia, Murcia-convened by COAG, which sought express to the Government Delegate discomfort over the government's refusal to grant Central Regional and aid to farmers affected by floods last September 28.
The delegation of affected Totana, who has moved to Murcia in two buses and a dozen vehicles, was headed by the President of the Union of Farmers and Ranchers of Lower Guadalentín (COAG) Cayuela Isidoro.
Following the refusal of the Government Delegate in Murcia to receive COAG regional representatives and victims of Lorca, Puerto Lumbreras, Totana and Alhama, a group of participants in the concentration were chained to the fence of the Government Office.
They have also participated in the local concentration IU coordinator, Juan José Cánovas and local PSOE Secretary, Andrew Garcia.
The concentration, which began at eleven in the morning, finished about four in the afternoon, after the interview held by the Secretary General of the Government Office with regional representatives of COAG.
