The Psychosocial Support Municipal Service, which serves people with a mental health diagnosis, in September resumed their activities in the period 2012-2013.
Part of these activities, scheduled departures, as performed in this case to the neighboring town of Lorca, in order to visit the workshops taught by Isol association (Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Murcia).
In the course of the day SAP users and professionals, may have known two of these workshops preelabórales for people with chronic mental illness and problems of employment and social integration.
Sources with the service, users enjoyed especially with the work done in mosaic workshop, where they could observe and learn techniques, in order to start the implementation of a mosaic workshop, within the activities of the SAP .
Users and professionals were very satisfied with this output because they have close ties of friendship with this partnership, which will enable new encounters in Totana and Lorca.
Moreover the Psychosocial Support Municipal Service continues its Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program at the Center for Disability Multipurpose through their daily activities among which are: social skills, cognitive stimulation, self-esteem and personal growth, psychoeducation , relaxation, stress management and anxiety, group dynamics, pool, gym, woodworking, crafts, computer, press shop, kitchen, factory hygiene, etc.
