The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez Ruiz, has opened, along with the CEO of Craft, Maria Dolores Alarcon, the exhibition "Water for Life", produced by the potters of Totana and will be throughout the month of August at the Regional Centre for Handicrafts of Murcia.
Thanks to the Association of Artisans of Totana (Asart), whose president, Rosa Maria Saiz, also present this morning at the public presentation of the exhibition, the potters have developed Totana pieces related to the theme of water as sources jugs and other kitchenware.
In this sample have participated "Alfar Tudela," Jose Maria "Poveo" Potters and Martin Bellon Lario.
These artisans have also collaborated in the implementation of various workshops to teach young people to develop water sources.
They have also exposed argáricos replica jugs as a sign of pottery is found in the Oilfield Argárica of La Bastida.
