Councilman Agriculture and Water, Diego Munoz, attended the presentation of the information campaign in Totana on "50 years of the CAP" land held by the organization "Union of Small Farmers" (UPA) in the auditorium of a restaurant in this town, and attended to many farmers and land associated with this union.
The ceremony was also attended by Secretary General of UPA in Murcia, Marcos Alarcón, and Secretary of sectoral action of this agricultural union, Antonio Moreno, and the head of UPA in Totana, Pedro Martinez Casanova.
The information campaign "50 years of CAP" is organized by farm bureaus-UPA, UPA-UCE Extremadura, Murcia UPA UPA Aragon and in the regions of Galicia, Extremadura, Aragon and Murcia, respectively.
The campaign aims to inform, educate and sensitize the general public and young people in particular on the role and utility of the CAP, and the need in the future will be more crucial than ever to have a strong CAP, equipped with adecuado.Además budget, is intended to inform different groups of rural and urban society, history and evolution of the CAP, its functions and utilities, the challenges faced, the opportunities offered to the population in general and in particular rural, and its response to the expectations and needs of society.
The campaign is financed by 50% by the Directorate General for Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Commission.
