The Department of Popular Culture Street has brought more than forty books in the second edition of the "The Book Traveler" coinciding with the activities under the commemoration of World Book Day.

This activity, as explained by the councilman of Popular Culture, Alfonso Cayuela, is to leave books in public places so that other people find them, read them and re-deposited in a different location.

The books have been placed in various public places to meet new readers who enjoy stories, lessons and generally everything related with culture.

The mayor stressed that this time the books are of various topics, some related to the town of Totana.

This activity, which is a variant of Bookcrossing and already has more than 70 copies in this chain in the municipality, is to leave books in public places so that other people find them, read them and redeposited on different location.

When a person finds the book traveler, inside a bag there where you can enter a book if you want to participate in this initiative, increased the number of travelers books.

In addition, find a brochure explaining the steps to follow, as long as you can have the book, readers' comments and recommendations where they deposit it again.

Popular Culture The mayor noted that the Book Traveler is a variant of BookCrossing, a unique way to share our books anonymously for others to read and, again, re-share them in an endless chain with the aim of expanding written culture all in a simple and fun.
