A dozen people participated in the course of social skills for employment developed by the Collective "The Candle" in the framework of the "Labor: A step towards employability."
The training has been closed by the councilman of Social Care, Josefa Maria Sanchez Mendez, has had a total duration of 40 hours.
This comprehensive training methodology for conducting individualized personal itineraries of labor insertion that is used in the project Work.
Through these actions are intended to inform, educate and guide the unemployed on issues related to the workplace.
It is an initiative of such socio-labor, by which it seeks to facilitate the employment of those persons in the municipality of Totana who are interested in actively participating in changing the situation of unemployment.
This project is operating in Totana since November 2007, in collaboration with the City of Totana and 20% funded by the Institute of Social and Murciano by 80% by the European Social Fund.
The course content refer to four main points: the communication process, the difficulties and how to improve it, the self-knowledge and self-esteem, interpersonal relationships and conflict resolution, and decision-making process.
The next is planned a workshop for Technical Active Jobs Search from 27 February to 15 March, lasting 36 hours.
Training sessions will be held in the Social Center of San Roque on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30 to 13:30.
