The Collective for Social Promotion "The Chandelier" in collaboration with the Instituto Murciano Social Action and the European Social Fund, will reset the shares she held in the framework of the "Labor: A step towards employability" with three training activities aimed at unemployed.
The Councillor for Citizen Participation, Josefa Maria Sanchez Mendez, has presented this program, along with the project coordinator, Eva Maria Leon.
The mayor explained that this is an initiative of socio-professional nature by which it intends to facilitate the employment of those persons in the municipality of Totana who are interested in actively participating in changing the situation of unemployment.
This resource, as stated also responsible for the project, conceived as "a step towards employability 'of participants, based on both personal orientation, conduct individualized itineraries of insertion.
Similarly, the project includes specific training workshops that address the characteristics and needs of users, training them in order to place them in a more favorable position in the labor market, thereby achieving both access to employment and their maintenance .
With this objective have already scheduled three training activities, a theoretical-practical workshop "Social Skills" to be a total duration of 40 hours, with the participation of 15 people unemployed, which begins today, a second course on "Techniques active job search ", with a duration of 40 hours to be held during the month of February and a third workshop, Basic Computer, 20 hours and will also be given in February.
In addition, specific actions that the collective "The Chandelier" will be further developed within the project "Labor" beginning with career guidance for those interested in accessing a job, to jointly establish one sessions with the participants their schedule inclusion and develop their professional profile, social guidance to those participants who need it on other social municipal resources, employment and training.
Technicians also guide the participants of the survey work, ie, analysis of the labor situation in Totana, studying in detail the different jobs that generate business, looking for possible jobs, and practical training in companies
The council explained that all those people who are in difficulties to access work and have the concern to know and think about the world of work by assimilating the importance of access to stable employment, may participate in this project.
