Along the Prado Mayor IES conducted a European project on ecology, environment and sustainable development

The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sánchez Ruíz, hosted three delegations, two French and Czech, involved in a European project on ecology and environment with students from IES Prado Mayor.

Specifically, to the municipality have reached students and teachers of "Lycée Jeanne d'Arc Privée Vouziers" (France), "Lycée Saint Michel de Reims" (France), and the center "to Spanelského gymnázia Klasického Brno" from the Czech Republic.

The mayor thanked the personal commitment of each of the people who are participating in this project through which we analyze the actions that countries take place in sustainable development and environment.

Sánchez Ruiz, after the institutional reception, held a day of work with students to explain the lines of action being carried out from the municipal government for sustainable development of the city.

In this sense, I spoke about the General Plan of Urban solid waste recycling, the selection of garbage, recycling of water, major projects such as the recovery of the mountain 83 or biodiversity of the Rambla de Lebor, among other important issues.
