Order of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of December 12, 2011 for which is given the name of Regional Tourist Interest Holy Week Totana.
Law 11/1997 of December 12, Tourism in the Region of Murcia, in Article 54 establishes the existence of the names "Festival of Regional Tourist Interest" and "Festival of Excellence in Tourism" of the Autonomous Community of certain festive events.
Its granting and revocation are governed by Decree 77/2005 of June 24, parties and distinctions of the Autonomous Region of Murcia.
The Illustrious Cabildo Totana processions Superior filed on July 30, 2010 request to demand the declaration of Regional Tourist Interest for Easter Totana.
Article 6 of the Decree 77/2005, provides that applications will be reviewed and rated by a Rating Committee designated for this purpose.
The Qualification Commission issued the required report dated November 30, 2010, being favorable to the denomination, as the assessed party has satisfied the minimum required for that purpose in the methodology established for this purpose.
In paragraph 2 of that article provides that the Regional Tourism Advisory Council must issue a report at the request of that Assessment Commission, a fact which was produced by agreement at the meeting held on November 24, 2011, and this is also favorable .
The Directorate General of Tourism is the competent body to the proposal and processing of applications for the granting or revocation of the designation of "Regional Tourist Interest" and "Festival of Excellence in Tourism", in accordance with the provisions of Article I of the Decree No. 238/2011 of 22 July, partially amending Decree No. 145/2011 of 8 July, down the bodies of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
By virtue of the proposal of the Director General of Tourism and in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 16 of Law 7 / 2004, dated December 28, Organization and Legal Regime of Public Administration of the Autonomous Community Murcia and Article 7.1 of Decree 77/2005 of 24 June, on festivals and tourism distinctions of the Autonomous Region of Murcia,
Order:
First .- Provide the name "Regional Tourist Interest" to Easter Totana.
Second. - Order the publication of this Order in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia.
Against this Order, which comes into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, interested parties may file administrative appeal within two months from the publication, and may also bring on an optional prior administrative appeal before this Council, within a month, according to the provisions of Article 46 of the Law of Administrative Jurisdiction Act and 117 of the Legal Regime of Public Administrations and Administrative Procedures Common
