A total of fifteen young people have started their training this week as "Auxiliary aesthetics" through an Initial Professional Qualification Program (IPPP) in form of professional workshop, which lasts for one school year and has been driven by the Department of Development and Employment.

This program, taught at the Centre for Local Development and is a springboard for the labor market, enables young people who have not completed their compulsory secondary education can do so with the realization of the second course.

The Mayor of Totana, Isabel Maria Sanchez Ruiz, and Councilwoman Development and Employment, Mary Jose Baez, visited the PCPI students learn first hand how they have started classes.

Baeza, who thanked the personal commitment of each student for the completion of this course, explained that through this program, young people, aged between 16 and 21 years, you will learn all processes related to the world of aesthetics and getting training in a field that requires a certificate of occupationally apprenticeships.

The mayor has indicated that this training has been launched thanks to a grant awarded by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of 45,000 euros, offered a training course to young people especially have problems to get a job.

During the course, also be encouraged to develop attitudes of respect, harmony and social participation.

In addition, the council has indicated that the main objectives are to learn the basics of makeup and waxing, and manicure and pedicure, serving customers and preparing equipment, materials and work areas, in terms of quality, safety and hygiene.

For its part, the Mayor of Totana has indicated that, in the commitment of the government team for the promotion and employment and given the success it had in the last edition, has opted for this course is taught again in the municipality.

With this training, Sánchez Ruiz, the young will have the opportunity of entering the working world and have a job related to the world of aesthetics at the same time broaden their knowledge in other areas such as in the social, scientific or technological.

Yet the mayor has said that this is the line that is going to keep on building and employment, commitment to training the hardest hit sectors, such as youth and the development of confidence-building actions to achieve entrepreneurs to bet on the municipality, and thus contribute to the creation of jobs.
