The Ministry of Health and Social Policy has received the award "Oro'2011 Paprika"

Over 400 people gathered today at the Fourth Meeting of The Raiguero crews organized by the Rural Women's Associations and the Association Raiguero "I started walking" of the district in which the Minister of Health and Social Policy, Maria Angeles Palacios, received the award "Oro'2011 Paprika" that deliver these neighborhood groups.

The popular traditional bands that participated in the meeting were the Totana Zarzadilla, Passions huerta of Murcia, Rondalla and The Gang Paretón Raiguero, The Fourth Meeting of The Raiguero crews, organized by the Association of Rural Women in The Raiguero and Partnership "started walking" of the district, will be held on Sunday November 13 totanera this deputation.

This meeting, which aims to promote and foster cultural continuity popular among youth in the municipality, will be attended by municipal authorities and the Minister of Health and Social Policy, Maria Angeles Palacios, who will attend the event as guest of honor and receive the award "Oro'2011 Paprika"

The popular traditional bands participating in this new encounter are those of Zarzadilla Totana, Passions huerta of Murcia, Rondalla and The Gang Paretón Raiguero respectively.

Thus, the festive day began with a great breakfast, later to celebrate Mass in the chapel of the deputation.

Is then presented the "Golden Paprika IV" to the minister invited in this new edition, and then there was a tribute to the elderly of the parish.

Councilor Maria Angeles Palacios, was the fourth Paprika Gold Award awarded by the Women's Association Raiguero Totana.

The work done by this group, as stated by the minister, "is essential to promote equality between men and women, and to keep alive the popular culture."

In this regard, he congratulated the people of this parish for the effort to preserve those traditions.

Palacios said that the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, through the Directorate General of Social Affairs, Gender and Immigration, work for equal opportunities with various support programs for women in business initiatives, self-employment, information and guidance work.

The minister highlighted the figure of women in rural areas and highlighted the progress for women has led agrarian Law 35/2011 of 4 October on shared ownership of farms.

Palacios called it a "great achievement" against the figure of the sole proprietorship, "which hindered the full equality between the sexes in the field of agriculture and rural development."

The Golden Paprika is an award given annually in the hamlet of Raiguero totanera Low, and is organized by the Women's Association Raiguero Totana.

Its purpose is to recognize the work done in various areas of social and economic life of the Region of Murcia.

Throughout the festive day, crews performed singing and dancing until 14:30 pm, when they began living together great food with a great paella.

In the evening performances can be traced all crews.

In previous years, the guests of honor were the former directors Bascuñana Joaquin, Antonio Cerda and Inmaculada García, who presented the award made them "Golden Paprika."
