This past weekend, the Association of Parents of Mentally Handicapped of Totana (PA.DI.SI.TO.) has visited Calblanque Regional Park, on the occasion of World Day Celebration of Birds.

They have been a total of 10 participants, accompanied by three volunteers who have been enjoying the natural environment of the salt.

The group has participated in a standardized way in this event organized by the volunteer group Calblanque, which was intended for the general public.

During the day, participants attended a workshop in mud, through which they could capture the different forms of tracks that can be found in this environment.

Moreover, it was a walking route to visit the Salinas del Rasall and bird watching, here participants could spot different species of birds, among which the sighting of flamingos.

This activity is a continuation of the activities the association has developed within its program of leisure, through which intended to complement the activities that users place in their respective centers, and promote an independent lifestyle and normalized within of this group.
