Totana City Council has made a proposal to neighborhood associations to immediately reduce costs in maintenance and management of social centers and municipal buildings, thereby saving the costs of their use.
The mayor, Isabel Maria Sanchez, and Councillor for Citizen Participation, Josefa Maria Sanchez, met with representatives of neighborhood associations and of associations employing, under assignment, facilities owned by the municipality to give account of the measures and planned actions.
The Consistory has plans to establish cooperation agreements with the various neighborhood associations in Totana for use and sale of local self-management of social neighborhoods and districts, after determining the conditions of use.
Municipal officials announced that the City will not assume the costs of maintaining local social neighborhood such as cleaning, replacement of items such as lights, bulbs and repair of damage caused by the use of infrastructure and the corresponding derivatives service telephony and Internet.
The City Council will take only the costs of electricity and water to a limit to be set soon by consensus with the neighborhood associations.
Authorities said neighbors who also assist in the timely execution of works in order to encourage local concrete actions.
In addition, neighborhood associations must book, as reported, at least one unit for the development of public services, without any consideration as municipal offices and administrative processing of information, points of attention of social services and other services descentrlizados.
Neighborhood associations are involved existing community centers in San Roque, San Francisco El Parral, Era Alta, San Jose, Olympic-Pears, Tirol Camilleri, Lebor, El Paretón, Raiguero Low and La Huerta.
The City has already established a round of meetings with neighborhood associations, village headman, social associations, sports associations and clubs to set cutting measures and budgetary adjustment within the Sanitation Master Plan Financial Officer.
