The full City Council yesterday approved of Totana, with votes for the PP and the PSOE and IU abstention, the proposal of Councillor for Finance, Maria Jose Baeza, to conclude a financial transaction through the ICO-local entities allowing payment to suppliers for approximately 1.1 million euros.
This agreement was carried out by Royal Decree of the Government's Office on controlling public spending and cancellation of debts owed to companies and autonomous municipalities, which will instruct the Official Credit Institute to launch a separate line in financial .
The amount of the operation would be 25% of the annual amount of deliveries that corresponds to the Council of Totana its participation in State taxes in 2011, whose monthly amounts to 412,835.11 euros.
Among providers who receive these payments are concessionaires of basic services to the public such as municipal solid waste collection, street cleaning and interior dining rooms of the nursery, among others.
