Totana City Council has signed a total of eight cooperation agreements with companies in the hairdressing and beauty for the students of Initial Vocational Training program on "Assistive of Aesthetics" to make its labor practices.

The Acting Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, escorted by the councilman of Promotion and Employment in office, José Antonio Valverde Queen, has signed agreements with Styling Center Manuel Canovas (Totana) Katy Barber (Totana) Corbalán Inma Lopez (Totana), Maria Zúñega Aesthetics (The Paretón); Spa Kore (Alhama de Murcia), Inma Rubio (Alhama de Murcia), chic, and Cecla (Yecla).

Valverde Queen recalled that the 15 young people who are part of this project that are not over 21, have learned all the processes related to the world of aesthetics and getting training in a field in which the workforce requires a certificate of apprenticeships.

In addition, explained that thanks to a grant awarded by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of more than 48,000 euros, has offered a training course to young people especially have problems in labor market

Elaborating on the contents of the course, the mayor has indicated that the main objectives have been to know the basics of makeup and hair, and manicure and pedicure, paying attention to customers, and preparing equipment, materials and work areas in terms of quality, safety and hygiene.

For his part, Mayor of Totana explained that through this project, the City has offered the opportunity of entering the working world and have a job related to the world of aesthetics such as: hair removal procedures employed mechanical; assistant manicure and pedicure, or assistant makeup.

He has also thanked the cooperation of businesses in these difficult times, because ultimately the employers who create employment opportunities.

Thus, recalled that in the youth sector is where you have to do a more targeted effort in training, since it is the sector most affected by unemployment in Spain.
