The Masters and Mistresses Association of Home "Same-gives" carried out the traditional tasting desserts, framed in the commemoration of "International Women's Day, March 8.
More than thirty women of the parish enjoyed this activity that also involved the mayor of Women and Equal Opportunities, Josefa María Sánchez Méndez, and Tourism and Handicrafts, María Isabel Sánchez Ruíz.
The mayors, who were served among many sweets, "donuts", "chocolate cake", "toast", "bores", "chocolate" and "quince" congratulated all women and men from the work done by the throughout the year and encouraged to continue working on the same line to "get a much more egalitarian world."
In addition, they commended the work done over the years by these women stressing "the role and figure of the woman totanera", which plays an important role in the development and promotion of local culture.
