The Mayor of Totana, José Martínez Andreo, and Councilman Services, Sergio López, met with workers in the interior cleaning public buildings to see first hand how it is carrying out the process of adaptation to new company "Eulen", awarded the service which previously had the company "The General."
Martínez Andreo reminded them that in order not to fire any worker and get them all to be subrogated by the new company has had to make a service reset to get to save 25 percent.
Thus the service which previously had a value of EUR 1,300,000 has now cost the City 800,000 euros per month, representing a net savings of 500,000 euros.
The mayor has acknowledged that this is an effort that must be done from the Administration to hold the debt and be able to meet the payment of suppliers in a timely manner, among other issues.
For this reason, we are resetting all services that can be achieved by reducing the spending that is intended.
Martínez Andreo told the janitors that, as the service expands, the direct benefit they fall on extending the hours of workers.
The mayor has welcomed the signing of this contract, as this proves once again that with good management, doing things in a responsible and looking after the interests of the town of Totana, positive working .
