The City Council of Totana, through the Department of Sports, has called for the scholarships to outstanding athletes of the town in 2010.
The purpose of this call, as explained by the Councillor for Sports, José Antonio Valverde Queen, is to promote sports through financial assistance to those outstanding athletes totaneros that as a result of such practice, have incurred costs for so from "the Consistory is made a great effort to help families of young athletes."
The total amount of aid amounting to 9,000 euros and the deadline for requesting ranges from 1 to 28 February.
This call can opt in Totana registered athletes under 21 who hold federal license in any sport where the athlete is considered outstanding.
Be valued sporting merit obtained in the year 2010.
