The new Sports Pavilion built in the Polideportivo Municipal "December 6" in the town bearing the name "Capuchin Fathers, through the plenary proposal submitted by the Department of Sports, to be held on Thursday 30 December.
Also, through this initiative calls for the Municipal Corporation to institutionally recognize the nomination of the infrastructure of educational advocacy and educational and social revitalization Capuchin Friars Minor have historically developed in this county.
In this sense, the Councillor for Sports, José Antonio Valverde Reina, explained that the Capuchin Fathers have done during the contemporary history of Totana an activity enthusiast, diverse and always understood as a response to religious concerns and social and political problems and needs at the time, in times of scarcity and need very different than today.
Similarly, adding that this community has developed historically a very important task of revitalizing and social participation and the promotion of sport among children and youth of this county, linked to the creation of sports clubs and sports both federated and non- in specialties such as football, basketball and table tennis, among others.
She stated that currently, the City of Totana is building a new Sports Pavilion Sports Centre in the landmark "December 6" which is to expand and improve the excellent network of sports facilities that includes the municipality, which will offer new infrastructure closed at this sports arena.
