The councilman of Social Welfare, Juan Carrion, attended the coronation of Queen's Day Care Service for People with Alzheimer's, an act that took place today as one of those scheduled to commemorate the third anniversary of the Centre.
The users participated, with the help of technical equipment of the Centre, in a multitude of workshops and activities that have taken place during these days as cooking workshops, musicoretarpia, living with the Day Centre users, and a special meal .
The councilman of Social Welfare, has congratulated the Queen, Josefa Sánchez, explained that the balance of the three years of operation is very positive, and that care and specialized treatment is designed to meet the needs of patients.
In this regard, he recalled that the center has a psychologist, occupational therapist and three support staff who design the program of activities suitable for each of them in order to stimulate their memory, their adaptation to the environment and enhance social relationships.
Carrion recalled that through the efforts and work that has developed from his apartment in the implementation of these services, dozens of families in the municipality are quiet because their families receive the necessary attention to the hands of professionals.
