The Councillor for New Technologies and Civic Participation, Juan Carrion, yesterday visited the computer room, recently launched by the Consistory totanero Social Center in Barrio San Roque, who has joined the project "Network of Computer Classroom Totana (RAITOTANA) to bring new technologies to the public.
RAITOTANA project, which is a municipal initiative that has united under a single name different computer rooms of the town of Totana, has at present 12 classrooms in districts and districts of the town.
This is an innovative project in the Region of Murcia, explained the council of the Department, Juan Carrion, who is enabling new technology literacy and access to them all the people of Totana and especially the most disadvantaged and vulnerable elderly, disabled, people at risk of social exclusion.
This infrastructure includes 10 computers and a server that does not have any cost for the City, as are the old computers Local Development Centre, which was replaced in November 2009.
The classroom, which are connected to high speed Internet, funded by the Autonomous Community and the Integra Foundation, will be open Monday and Wednesday from 17:00 to 21:00 and Wednesday from 10:00 to 14:00 .
