A group of students from the Occupational Center "José Moya" recently conducted a collaborative environment consisting of the irrigation and maintenance of native plants in the vicinity of Mount La Santa, in particular near the site of the "White Lady."

The planting of 900 native plants was an initiative of the Department of Environment, attended by many residents of Totana, into two calls that were made last February and April, and are framed in the initiative "Plant 02 "aimed at restoring vegetation by reforestation activities.

Thus, the Occupational Center has wanted to join this initiative with two objectives, contribute to forest regeneration of the surrounding environment and raise awareness among students at the school about the necessity to protect the environment.

In this regard, the council of the Environment, Trini Cayuela, and Welfare, Juan Carrion, have welcomed the activity and stressing that "this is another example of how people with disabilities can participate in socially useful activities, and can perform open media activities. "
