The French Department of the IES Prado Mayor held the "Semaine de la francophonie" from 13 to 20 April.
The main objectives of this initiative were, among others:
Know the countries where French is the official / co-official language.
Investigate French-speaking characters of worldwide renown.
Draw pictures from words in French, encouraging the creativity of the students.
Value the importance of learning foreign languages, in general, and French, in particular.
Become aware of the impact of establishing personal and / or commercial relationships with people from different countries using French.
Improve the linguistic competence of the students.
Among the programmed activities, the following stand out from the teaching center:
Conference on the importance of learning foreign languages, aimed at students of 4th ESO
Film workshop (ESO Y BACH.)
In addition, works prepared by students of the center that study the subject were presented, either as a compulsory subject, within the bilingual program or as optional, as reported from the French department of the IES Prado Mayor
