The writer Lorca Francisco José Motos tonight presented his new historical novel "The abyss on the border" in the municipal library "Mateo García", within the events scheduled by the Department of Culture on the occasion of the Book Day in this town.

Throughout the book, the author offers a tour of the Castilian-Nazari border, located between the Kingdom of Murcia and Granada.

"It is a historical novel that shows the struggle of two civilizations and the opportunity to create a better world in cruel and difficult circumstances," the author explained during the presentation.

In his new work, the writer recovers the figure of a historical figure, Alonso Fajardo, who was the first warrior poet of the Castilian border, Nazari and the kingdom of Xiquena Libre.

Throughout the book, the author offers a tour of what was the most important border in the world in 1465: the Castilian-Nazari, located between the Kingdom of Murcia and Granada.

The author of this work was born in Lorca;
