The Local Government Board has agreed to request the aid provided in the "Eurodyssey" program to finance training work practices of young people from European regions for the year 2018.
The Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through the body responsible for Youth, has been participating since 2004 in the development of the "Eurodyssey" program, which was created in 1985 by the Assembly of European Regions (ARE ).
The purpose of this is to allow young Europeans between the ages of 18 and 30, of any origin and training, to benefit from the support of the regions to obtain a training stay in a European region, through professional training and internships.
Under the order of February 28, 2018, of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, aid was invited to companies and public and private entities of the Region of Murcia, aimed at financing training work practices of young people from European regions adhered to the program "Eurodisea" for the year 2018.
The Totanero Consistory has requested them taking into account the importance of this initiative for the professional training of the young population and its adaptation to the labor market, as well as the promotion of regional and European awareness and promotion of the international projection of entities and companies .
In fact, the City of Totana already participated in the years 2015 and 2016 in said program.
The individual amount to receive for each offer of training practice is established according to the months of duration of the practice (between two and five months), and the amount of the monthly payment is established in a unit cost of nine hundred euros (900 euros).
This is subsidized by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia in a percentage of 20%, and the remaining 80% by the European Social Fund, extreme reflected in the aforementioned Order of February 28, 2018, of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
