The Business Incubator of the City of Totana hosted last week a Entrepreneurship and Employment Conference aimed primarily at students in the second year of the Baccalaureate of the branch of Business, and organized by the Department of Economic Development, Employment and Training, with the collaboration of the municipal company PROINVITOSA and "Guadalentín Emprende".
The day took place between 9:00 and 1:30 in the morning;
starting in the Local Development Center with a visit of all the facilities of this infrastructure with the corresponding explanations about the municipal and non-municipal dependencies it houses and about the services provided: information, employment, training, counseling, computer room, among other.
Next, a visit was made to one of the most important totaneras companies of those located in the "El Saladar" industrial estate, in this case, "Martínez Ayala, SA", one of the leading leading companies in the manufacture of inks for graphic arts.
The participants in this day could know the whole process of production of the factory and offered by the president, technicians and departmental directors all kinds of explanations on innovation, technology, foreign and national trade, evolution of the company, positioning in the market world sector, etcetera.
The third part of the day consisted in the visit to all the facilities of the Business Incubator and the development of the presentations by one of the entrepreneurs located in the Business Incubator: "ETICAMBIO", an on-line product trading company ecological and fair trade.
In addition, other presentations were offered by the manager of PROINVITOSA, on entrepreneurship in Totana and Employment Plan of the City Council and two entrepreneurs from the sectors of journalism and architecture belonging to the Association of Young Entrepreneurs "Guadalentín Emprende", mainly aimed at to business motivation.
At the end of the day, the attendants received the corresponding diploma of assistance and the letter of services from the Local Development Agency.
The Business Incubator has warehouses of between 100 and 200 square meters in area, individual offices of 15 meters and nests;
It also has a co-working room, different rooms for conducting events and lectures and seminars, office, and services for user entrepreneurs.
All this at the disposal of the entrepreneurs of the municipality.
