From PADISITO, the Association of Parents of People with Intellectual Disabilities of Totana, we want to thank one more year to the Federation of Peņas de Carnaval for their kindness and solidarity for having ceded the management of the stands that are located on Calle Puente to our Association.
These stands are available to the general public so that all those who wish can enjoy the spectacular Carnival parades that are celebrated in Totana, and that year after year they go to more.
There are many people who along the three parades, have wanted to collaborate with our association, and of course enjoy these carnivals, so thanks to each and every one of them, that with this gesture have also contributed to improve the quality of life of the group of people with disabilities and their families.
Remember that PADISITO has been working for this group for 25 years in our town, and that with the funds raised in the management of this year's stands, it will be possible to give continuity to the Home Support and Respite Programs that cover the needs of our more dependent users, and part of the expenses of the Summer Camp that PADISITO celebrates in the month of August, intended for users with intellectual disabilities will also be covered.
To reiterate our gratitude to the Federation of Peņas, and in particular to its President for his sense of solidarity and support to this group, and also to all the volunteers who accompanied us in this work, without whom our action would not be possible.
