The large families of the municipality of Totana can apply for the bonus on the Property Tax (IBI) of the habitual residence and the reduced rate for drinking water, according to sources from the councils of the Treasury and Water.
The families that are in this situation and want to benefit from the bonus in the IBI corresponding to the year 2018 of their habitual residence can already request it until the month of May.
In addition, as a novelty, they will also have to present the request for a bonus for the year 2019, whose term is throughout the year 2018, according to sources from the Department of Finance.
Large families can also request a reduction in the drinking water consumption rate, which will take effect the following quarter of the application.
In relation to the bonus in the IBI, the percentage to apply varies according to the category of the families, being 40% the general category, that is, up to four children;
and 60% for the special category, which is more than five children.
Remember that the category of large family is included in the card they have to provide;
and that to access these bonuses, the interested parties must present the following documentation: request for identification of the property, photocopy of the document indicating the ownership of the property, large family certificate, certificate of the municipal register, proof of the income of the whole unit family -not necessary for the bonus in drinking water consumption- and be aware of the payments with the Totana City Council.
