Today Sunday January 28 was held at the site of La Santa (Totana), the XII MTB Domingo Pelegrin Memorial, which as usual has been gathering in all its editions more than 250 runners in the provinces of Murcia, Alicante, Almeria , Albacete and others.
This year also the test was framed in the MTB Circuit XCM Murcia 2018 (second scoring), official test of the FCRM where again the organization bet for a tour of paths and forest tracks always by the beautiful places of Sierra Espuńa.
250 riders from the junior, elite, under23, master30A / master30B, master 40A / master40B, master50A / mster50B, cyclists and females categories met at the start line;
as well as a new category of couples.
A day with adverse weather, rain, cold, snow and lots of mud, which forced the organization of Santa Eulalia CC to cut the planned circuit to preserve the integrity and safety of the runners at all times;
always supported by volunteers who are in the points and civil protection to which we must make a special mention these days especially complicated.
The organization arranged 3 refreshments.
The absolute winner of the race was Ismael Adan (33 BIKE), who used a time of 1.42.10, followed by Alejandro Ortigosa, and Jose Francisco Rubio, who entered more than 4 minutes behind the winner.
After the test, the organization offered the runners a convivial meal, aperitif with soft drinks, ham, fruit and sweets.

as well as to thank all the sponsors, collaborators and volunteers that make this event possible, because without them, it would be impossible to carry out one of the leading tests in the Regional MTB.
