Before the beginning of the regular plenary session corresponding to the month of January, the representative of the Platform in Defense of the Bastida Project - UAB Felipe García Miñarro read a public document in which the continuity of the professionals of the Autonomous University of Barcelona was defended ( UAB) and its project;

and promote a joint meeting with the City Council and businessmen to raise awareness of the importance of it and obtain financing, giving them knowledge of the tax advantages that exist to collaborate under the protection of the Law of Patronage.

In addition, it advocated the need for a museum and interpretation center to collect the archaeological wealth of the territory of Totana and the creation of a foundation to achieve funding and stability to the project.

The Plafatorma has asked to negotiate and develop a program of actions in the La Bastida field in the short, medium and long term that is sustainable and satisfactory for all parties involved;

as well as solving the disagreement with the UAB.
