The first regular plenary session of the year 2018, which takes place this Thursday (7:00 p.m.), includes the motions that could not be discussed at the previous ordinary session in December due to technical problems, and others such as the Councilor for Culture on the proposal of various activities on the occasion of the Centennial of the award of the Title of the City to Totana.
It also includes the motion of the Councilor for Environment to request a Mobile Unit of the Atmospheric Surveillance Network of the Region of Murcia to the General Directorate of Environment for the municipality of Totana.
Motions of political groups
The agenda includes the motions of the Municipal Socialist Group regarding the preparation and incorporation of a Prevention and Attention to Homelessness program into the future State Housing Plan;
and another on compliance with the basic conditions of accessibility and non-discrimination.
In addition, another PSOE is collected to establish a public pension system with greater capacity for redistribution and reduction of inequalities.
The corporative will debate the motions of Win Totana-IU on support of the City Council to the demands of the Federation of Music Bands of the Region of Murcia and demand to the regional government and the regional Assembly of the immediate approval of the Music Law, as well as another for the qualification of the Zone Fire Station to the current Local Park of Totana-Alhama, increasing the number of personnel to five daily firefighters, as well as the necessary material endowment for the full operation of it.
The Municipal Group Win Totana-IU has raised other motions to the plenary to urge the Government to promote a change in migratory policies based on respect for Human Rights;
urge the Headquarters of the 5th Zone of Murcia, the Delegation of the Government and the Government of the Nation to increase the templates of Civil Guards and cover the vacancies that occur.
Another motion to Win TOtana-IU refers to requesting the salary equalization of public employees of the General State Administration that those who work in the same position for the Autonomous Administrations and those who work for the autonomous communities with transferred competences.
Finally, a motion by the Municipal People's Group to support and defend the permanent remainable prison will be discussed.
