The V Championship of Rugby Schools "City of Totana" is held this Saturday, December 2, at the Municipal Sports Center "December 6", with the participation of more than 200 athletes from ten schools, within the program of sports activities of the program of parties of Santa Eulalia.
The Councilor for Sports, Isabel Marķa Molino, and the president of the Rugby Club of Totana, Salvador Carrasco, presented this sporting event that is being held for the fifth consecutive year organized by this sports entity in order to promote the basic work in this sports modality, as they have been doing for several years.
The competition will start at 9:30 am and includes the celebration of four games in the different categories sub-8, sub-10, sub-12 and sub-14 that will meet in this championship.
The participating rugby clubs are Lorca, Orihuela, Torrevieja, Elche, CRU Murcia, CRU Cartagena, XV Murcia, San Javier, Torres de Cotillas and the host CR Totana.
In addition, in the afternoon, the league match will be played in senior category between the teams of CR Totana and CR Lorca, of the First Territorial.
The Councilor for Sports encouraged the fans of this sport to come to the municipal sports center to enjoy this activity and the atmosphere that will be generated throughout the day.
The president of the Rugby Club of Totana thanked the inestimable collaboration of the Department, the sponsors and the Murcia Rugby Federation to make this championship a reality;
