The Local Government Board has recently approved collaboration agreements with the Autonomous Community of Murcia, through the Murcia Institute of Social Action (IMAS), for the provision of services day centers for people with mental illness and intellectual disability in situation of dependence on Totana.
The agreement for the Day Center for People with Mental Illness is biannual for the years 2018 and 2019 for a maximum total amount of 491,330.40 euros, with the IMAS financing 245,665.20 euros each budgetary year in order to subsidize a number of 22 places .
For its part, the agreement for the Day Center for People with Intellectual Disabilities is also for 2018 and 2019 for a maximum total amount of 714,662.40 euros, financing the IMAS 357,331.20 euros each budget year in order to subsidize 32 users.
The agreements will be signed in the near future by the Minister of Family and Equality of Opportunities, Violante Tomás, and the mayor of Totana, Andrés García.
