The Local Government Board has recently approved the proposal of the councilor of Commerce, Antonia Camacho, which establishes the conditions and requirements to opt for a space for sale in the area of â€‹â€‹La Santa on the occasion of the pilgrimages of December 8 and on January 13, respectively.
In the patron saint festivities of Santa Eulalia, it is custom and tradition that for the pilgrimage of December 8, the installation of a churreria stand is allowed;
and for the one of January, it authorizes, in the later part of the Sanctuary, diverse positions focused to the sale of different articles, from churrerías until articles of gift.
The total number of positions awarded will be adequate to the space available for such activity (5 maximum positions in the pilgrimage of December 8, 2017 and 30 maximum positions in the pilgrimage of January 13, 2018).
The presentation of applications may be in person at the offices of the Citizen Service (SAC) of the City of Totana, located in the Plaza de la Constitución.
The application must clearly include the name of the applicant, the postal address, a contact telephone number, the email address, the characteristics and dimensions of the position requested and the product object of the sale.
In addition, a photocopy of the ID or CIF of the applicant, IAE certificate, certificate of up-to-date Social Security contributions, last three autonomous receipts, working life and current civil liability insurance must be submitted.
The sanitary documentation required to request the installation of a non-permanent establishment that handles food is the following: responsible statement for establishment of itinerant or non-sedentary sale of food and beverages, photocopy of the Sanitary Authorization for the activity carried out, issued by the Management General of Public Health of the Ministry of Health of the Region of Murcia and photocopy of the Food Handler's Card or Certificate of Training for food handlers in force.
In addition, in this case, a list of food suppliers must be presented, including the following information: name, address, registration number in the General Sanitary Food Register or Sanitary Authorization where applicable and products it supplies.
Applications that are submitted within the indicated period, and that meet all the aforementioned requirements, will be evaluated and if they are authorized, they will be informed by telephone, fax and / or email, and will be notified of the Resolution of Mayor for which, he is granted the corresponding permission.
The granting of said permits will take place based on the order of entry and the following selection criteria: type of position;
and because of the characteristics of the place and the religious environment in which the pilgrimages are celebrated, the positions according to this celebration will have priority, without noise and articles appropriate to the pilgrimage.
Because the space is limited and it is not a fair really but a pilgrimage in the Sierra Espuña, the total linear meters of the place destined for this type of event in question will be reduced.
The procedure will be annual, so that being authorized one year, does not give the right to mount your post in successive pilgrimages, having to make the request and enter the selection process every year.
