The Councilor for Human Resources of the City of Totana, Gertrudis María Ruiz Tudela, together with the Director General of Women and Equality of Opportunities of the Family and Equal Opportunities Department, Alicia Barquero Sánchez, inaugurated yesterday the course "Management of municipal projects of conciliation, from a gender perspective, "held at the Local Development Center of Totana.
Also present at the inauguration was the councilor Maria Jose Bedia and municipal techniques of the Council of Women of the Consortium totanero.
This course, which runs until October 24, aims to develop competencies, identify the most appropriate conciliation needs in the respective municipalities, in order to achieve a greater efficiency of the project that will allow the personnel of the different municipalities of the Region to manage the municipal projects in conciliation, financed with Social Funds.
The City of Totana has been benefited for this year with a grant from the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, and co-financed by the European Social Fund, to carry out a conciliation project of working life, personal and family, during the next Christmas school holidays, which amount to 10,797 euros.
The project that has been the object of this grant and that will develop the City Hall is a school in non-school period, specifically for the Christmas holidays;
and will be used for the care of minors, with enrollment in the Totana and Primary Education centers, aged between 3 and 12 years, whose parents work or participate in training actions for employment.
This initiative of conciliation is adapted to the labor necessities of the totanero municipality and includes activities lúdicas, educative, with monitors of leisure and free time.
This course is aimed at technical and political leaders in the field of conciliation resources of the municipalities of the Region of Murcia.
There are four editions in different municipalities, one of them Totana, in which technicians and councilors from the municipalities of Aguilas, Alcantarilla, Aledo, Alhama de Murcia, Librilla, Lorca, Mazarrón, Mula, Puerto Lumbreras and Totana participate.
