The City Council of Totana today celebrated the Extraordinary Citizen Security Local Board to coordinate the security and emergency arrangements to ensure the normal development of the thirty second edition of Rally Raised to La Santa, which is celebrated this weekend.

The Local Board of Public Safety was presided over by the mayor, Andrés García, and attended by the councilors delegate of Sports, Isabel Maria Molino, and Services to the City and Infrastructure, Víctor Balsas, respectively.

In addition, the meeting was attended by officials of the main Civil Guard in Totana, detachment of the Traffic Group of the Civil Guard, Local Police, Civil Protection, environmental agents and technicians from various municipal areas, as well as representatives of the Autonomous Community and Automóvil Club Totana, organizer of the event.

The test is scoring for the Championship of Murcia of Mountain'2017, Open of Lift of Mountain'2017 and Cup of Spain of Mountain;

and has the collaboration of the Federation of Automovilismo of the Region of Murcia.

On Friday, September 22, the technical verifications and accreditation of pilots will be carried out in the "Manolo Ibáñez" Sports Pavilion;

and at night, in the fairground (closed park), will be the ceremony of departure and official presentation of the pilots and participating vehicles, with musical animation and bar for the attendees.

The road RM-502, which communicates Totana and Aledo, will be cut on 23 and 24 September at the height of the urbanization "La Charca" in order to be able to dispute the different sleeves of the test.

Thus, on Saturday 23 will be cut to traffic from 11:00 to 18:30 hours and Sunday 24 will be closed from 7:00 to 14:00 hours.

As always, the exit will be at the 3.2 kilometer point of this route RM-502 (urbanization entrance "La Charca") and the arrival at 7 (crossing of the Angel, in Santa);

with a length of 3.8 kilometers and a slope of 210 meters (slope of 5%).

The access of the interested people to the sanctuary of the Patron of Totana must be realized through the place of the Jumero.

Residents living in the urbanization "La Charca" must access their homes through the transfer area.

In addition, visitors are reminded that it is totally prohibited to carry out fires, camping and bottles in the environment where the course of the test takes place;

and attendees are required to only access the areas delimited exclusively for the viewers.

Likewise, it is recommended to comply and respect, for security reasons, all indications of the organization, Civil Guard Traffic and Local Police;

as well as respecting and caring for the environment, above all, regarding the deposit of garbage and organic remains during the days of this sporting event.
