The Service of Information, Orientation and Advice to Associations (SIOA) of the Council of Citizen Participation of the City Council, has made a total of 160 attentions since the beginning of this year to date, according to reports from this municipal department.
The purpose of this service is to guide, inform and provide technical advice to associations established in the municipality of Totana, in various matters such as the modification of board or bylaws, and doubts regarding management.
It also reports on the procedure to be followed by those that are to be constituted, as well as on the procedures to be carried out in this regard, as a process and documents necessary for the creation of the association (statutes, minutes, documentation to be presented in the Single Window of the Autonomous Community, registration in the Register of City Hall, etc.).
Likewise, information is provided on the preparation of projects, loan services of municipal social premises and material support for the development of non-profit activities.
The service is aimed at legally constituted non-profit organizations and groups as well as groups of citizens who wish to establish themselves as an association for the attainment of common goals.
During the first semester of the year, a total of 17 associations have been constituted in various themes, such as sports, carnival, cultural, social, among others.
This service contributes to support the work carried out by the associations of the municipality, to strengthen the associative fabric and to make visible the work done by the different associations, and to promote the associationism in our city and to encourage citizen participation.
