A dozen children and young people participated for the first time in the Initiation Workshop at Breakdeace, which was offered within the program "Totana Verano'2017" of the Council of Juentud, and was one of the novelties that counted This varied program of activities for this summer season.
This workshop, organized by the Air Ministers Association, was given by an expert monitor in Break Dance (BBoy Fran);
And has consisted in the introduction and initiation of this dance discipline.
During two intensive weeks, in the facilities of the "La Cárcel" Gym, 10 children and young people between the ages of 7 and 16 participated in this workshop, where participants learned the basics of each style, through two Fundamental axes: theoretical and practical.
So, they have known the basic steps of dances, such as Footwork, Top Rock, Freeze and Power Move, learning to perform acrobatics, contortions, twists, etc., that generate a healthy exercise practice for healthy body and mind maintenance.
The Air Ministers Association has expressed its interest in continuing to carry out this workshop in schools as an extracurricular activity for the next school year, since the practice of this type of dance brings different benefits for the people who perform it, such as the Considerable increase of the sport habit avoiding among the minor the childhood obesity and other health problems.
