The Municipal Group Win Totana IU has raised a motion to the Plenary of July so that the City Council summon a participatory process between the neighbors of the municipal term in which decides the future of two very important and strategic assets such as the Centers Educational Institutions of "La Cruz" and the former Institute of Middle Education.

Both were built by the Second Republic, along with those still in service as CEIP "Santiago" and "Santa Eulalia".
Located in the areas where the faithful were, in the Avenida de Lorca or the exit to Aledo, the buildings and adjacent spaces, have been used for years to locate some services, such as Children's School, Civil Protection, Adult Education and some Associations.
But without undertaking an integral restoration (some areas are without access) or planning its use in the future.
In every moment, possibilities have been discussed, from its alienation, to its demolition to construct Municipal Buildings.
Winning Totana IU, proposes a participatory process in which different options can be valued for these buildings or public goods for the City to request resources that put them in value or options, such as the possibility to dispose of these assets to finance other buildings or Public municipal spaces.

The Participatory Process would be carried out by the Consistory from the Area of Citizen Participation and would have the condition of binding to make clear the use and Planning of future for these buildings, loaded with history and feelings in the recent history of Totana.
