The modernization and refurbishment works of the garden have allowed the rehabilitation of the children's playground, planting of new trees and conditioning of the existing, installation of new lighting since the space was practically in the dark and the elimination of graffiti.

The rehabilitation of the children's playground has a budget of 5,600 euros and has also placed a tower of about 12 meters high for the permanent lighting of the park, as well as the installation of a fountain and more paper mills.

In addition, the garden has been completely cleaned, with gravel spread on the surface and the work to limit the different playgrounds with the construction of a curb and gravel to serve as protection against possible falls of users, complying with The current safety regulations.

On the other hand, the mayor of Works and Infrastructures has indicated that, with this action, his department will have invested a total of 300,000 euros in the last two years in the arrangement and maintenance of parks and gardens, of which 30,000 euros have been Municipal budget and the rest from regional funds.

In this regard, he reviewed some of the numerous actions promoted in the legislature in this area, such as the rehabilitation of the park "Tierno Galván", the installation of biosaludables games in the fairground and the construction of the new park "Triptolemos".

He also announced the construction of a new playground in the neighborhood of San José (165,000 euros) and the start of the contracting of the rehabilitation project for the children's playground of the municipal park "Marcos Ortiz", whose works are to start at the end of May, as well as the rehabilitation of the garden of the urbanization "La Charca".

Likewise, the first deputy mayor expressed his satisfaction to fulfill his commitment to set up the "Diego Manzano" garden, which was built in the 1999-2003 legislature;
