The Department of City Services and Municipal Infrastructures will put in the next few days a total of 90 new bins in different parts of the urban area, whose approximate investment amounts to 9,228 euros, explained the mayor of the branch, Víctor Balsas.
At present, some 35 paper mills have already been placed and the rest will be made progressively;
Which are added to those installed in a first stage in which were placed another 40 distributed by different points of the urban helmet.
The bins have been installed in different areas of the high traffic public road, such as educational centers and streets with a large pedestrian crossing.
The installation work has been carried out by the concessionaire of the service of urban solid waste collection and road cleaning "Totana Servicios Urbanos", at the request of the Department, which is recognized for its effort and thank you for the cooperation provided.
The company is in charge of these works with the intention of keeping the locality as clean as possible.
The delegated councilor, Victor Balsas, said that the placement of this new furniture "is one of the steps we are taking to improve the cleanliness of our streets, squares and gardens," while asking citizens in general to Make use of them to have a cleaner urban environment.
According to Víctor Balsas explained, the intention of the Department has been to strengthen areas where there are green areas, dividing the municipality into six zones.
The distribution of these has been as follows: historic center (20 paper mills), Tyrol Camilleri (10), Ramblica and San Francisco (30), Olympic Las Peras (15), and districts (15).
