The Department of Sports wants to publicly congratulate Gabriel Sánchez, player of the Table Tennis Club Totana, for his next participation in the "Malacky Open" after being called with the Spanish team.
The table tennis totanero and the sport in general are to be congratulated since Gabriel Sánchez has just been summoned by the Royal Spanish Table Tennis Federation to be part of the expedition that will represent Spain in the category young man in the Open Malacky "that will take place in this city of Slovakia, from 10 to 12 March.
The "Malacky Open" is the most important event of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) and is played in the categories Mini Cadet (12-13 years) and Mini Mini Cadet (10-11 years), male and female.
The totanero player who will turn eleven in March will do so in the smallest category.
The players summoned (two for each category, in total 8) will be concentrated in Malacky preparing the test from the 6 of March next to the three trainers of the RFETM that will accompany the expedition.
Gabriel Sánchez was already being followed by the sporting direction of the Federation and the final accolade has been his great performance in the State Tournament that was disputed last weekend in Valladolid where he was proclaimed champion and where he played an extraordinary final against the Burgos Daniel Berzosa next to the totanero will form the Spanish equipment in the category Mini Mini Cadet masculine.
